Some observations of today’s game that puts Maryland 6-2 overall, 3-1 in the ACC and bowl eligible.
The Terps win the toss, defer , NC State scores 7 and uses that confidence to take the Terps to the wire. Why? Get the ball , get the lead!!!
DaRel Scott turned in a super performance (163 rushing yards) but injured his shoulder late in the game.
By far, the game was played in the most miserable conditions I ever remember.
Turner led a great 92 yard winning drive making every big play necessary, including the key screenp ass to Meggett.
It is sad that this game was not on local TV. The replay is on tonight at 7:30 PM on Comcast.
The Terps have 11 days to get ready for the road game against Virginia Tech. The last time the Terps went to Blacksburg they lost 55-6.
The season looks like it could come down to the FSU game at home .
