The wait is finally over!! Landon and Cliff combined for 30 points leading a slow starting Terrapin squad to an easy triumph over Bucknell. Sean Mosley, hampered by a sore ankle, scored 3, with 4 rebounds and 4 assists in his first college game. In an unique stat, all 13 Terrapins had at least 1 rebound. Amongst the bigs, the play of Dave Neal stood out. His shoulder brace is gone and his touch is back!!!
For me the highlight of the game was the playing of Good Morning Baltimore (from Hairspray) right before tipoff celebrating the infusion of 3 Baltimore Terrapins on the squad. Dino Gregory’s stock continues to rise as he played a solid 11 minutes for the Terps. Next up is Youngstown State tuesday night at Comcast.
Brenda’s touring Lady Terrapins got whacked by TCU Friday night 60-48 trailing wire to wire. iIn the ACC Semis in soccer the Terrapins defeated BC 1-0 behind the 7th shutout of the year for Freshman sensation Zac MacMath. Finally at 1:30 the Terrapin Field hockey team hosts Albany in the round of 16.
And yes it is Prime Time for the football team facing the Tar Heels tomorrow at Byrd. Despite every prognosticator in the country picking NC to win, Harpo will lead the Terps to a 27-17 win. ACC road wins are tough to achieve and Carolina is no power though ranked 17th in the nation.
