Lady Terps Bounce Back–Defeat Clemson 65-56 on the Road

Led by Marissa Coleman’s 19 points and dominant rebounding by Lynetta Kizer the Terps won a hard fought battle at Clemson Thursday night. The Lady Terps are now 14-3 and 2-1 in the ACC with Virginia Tech at home on Sunday at 4PM.

If you want to know why the Terrapin Soccer team won the NCAA Title this year observe the next sentence: For only the second time in Major League Soccer history, the University of Maryland had three players selected in the first round as Omar Gonzalez (Los Angeles Galaxy), Rodney Wallace (D.C. United) and Jeremy Hall (New York Red Bulls) were among the first 11 players selected Thursday in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft in St. Louis.  Aj Delagarza (19th) and Graham Susi (23rd) completed the 5 Terps selected in the Super 25 draft. Unbelievable!!!!

Men’s Wrestling faces its toughest hurdle ever as the team travels to #10 Oklahoma and #4 Nebraska for 2 matches this weekend.

After the excruciating loss to Miami, Men’s hoops have their back against the wall needing to win on the road at FSU Saturday at Noon. I hope Bowie continues to establish his offensive identity and repeats his terrific performance from Wednesday. To win this game it is imperative to get more production from Dave Neal and the bigs. An early prediction: Terps 72 FSU 69.
