Terps Win on the Road 57-56 over Georgia Tech–Move to 4-5 in the ACC

The old Greivis Vasquez returned to the court last night in Atlanta, leading the Teps to a 57-56 victory over the now 1-8 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Greivis scored 19 points with 3 assists and 3 steals. he led the team in a unifying unselfish way as said he would Saturday when I had a chance to speak with him greivis-on-his-role5 Some of my observations of the victory.

Can someone besides me give Dino Gregory a little credit. He was 2-2 from the field scored 7 points and had 5 rebounds in 25 minutes.

Mosley, Milbourne and Dave Neal scored a total of 8 points and yet the Terps still won.

Eric Hayes starting for flu ridden Adriam Bowie, played excellent minus 2 or 3 stupid turnovers. He nailed 2 threes early to get the Terps out to an early lead.

Missed free throw opportunities by Mosley and Hayes down the wire almost cost the Terps the game.

Can the Terps find 4 wins in their last 7 ACC games? The Hokies game becomes a must win this Saturday which incredibly would bring Maryland to 5-5 in the ACC.

Somehow the Terrapins and GTech tied at 35 rebound each.

Still waiting for Jin Soo KIm to show the shooting ability everyone talked about this summer.

Virginia Tech next Saturday at 4PM at Comcast. Seth Greenberg returns, 1 year since his embarassing display at Comcast last year.
