ACC supremacy is on the line when No. 9 Maryland travels to Charlottesville, Va., to battle No. 1 Virginia Saturday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium. The Terps clinch the regular season conference title and the top seed in the ACC tournament with a victory.
But more important the Terps must produce a big win for its own psyche. The Terps have not lived up to its preseason #3 rankining. Maryland’s attack has taken a hard hit when compared to UVA’s combo of Danny Glading, Garrett Billings and Steele Stanwick. Perhaps the Terrapin attack can muster up the major effort it will need today to win. By the way whenis maryland going to get a Stanwick? Wells Stanwick is already developing a name for himself at Boys Latin this year.
