As i predicted today on Press Box Live, The #1 Div III Stevenson Mustangs ended Salisbuty’s 105 game Conference win streak, winning in Salisbury 12-8. Congrats to Coach Paul Cantabene.

Opening day is Monday at 4PM vs the Yankees and for the first time in years it is an absolute sellout. Here’s hoping the starting pitching isn’t as bad as everyone says it is.

I still believe the Ravens will select Darriius Heyward Bey or NC State’s  Hakeen Nicks with its first choice. No inside info, but just gut feeling. James Franklin told me that DHB looked great in his workout with Flacco.

When I watched the Wood Memorial from the Big A, and the Santa Anita Stakes from LA, I again realized the unbelievable downfall of racing in Maryland. Government leaders had better corrall visionaries like Cordish into the mix or else racing will be an industry to leave the state. But then again does any one care if it does.

By proving a point against Cleveland on Tuesday night , the Wizards probably will have their chances to get Blake Griffin reduced by 6%. Did any one really not believe that with a healthy Gilbert and Brendan Heywood, this team isn’t a competitive one.

I went to promoter Scott Wagner’s Boxing show at Michaels 8th Avenue and really had a great time.Scott’s tribute to our wounded soldiers always bring tears to my eyes.
