Greivis this is for you. I am certainly not aware of you or your family’s financial positon. I realize this must be part of the reason you are testing the NBA waters. After all you given to the University, I only wish you the best of luck. But Come back to your Comcast home–here are my reasons why:
1) Jordan Williams and James Padgett are flat out studs. The Terps will have a big man presence next year. You have your entire squad (less the Mayor) coming back.Now when you drive the basket you will have 2 alley oop options.
2) Yes you might be drafted in the mid or late 2nd round. But in the NBA 2nd round is not guaranteed money and many 2nd rounders never even make the squad. It is an outright crapshoot.
3) Come back to Maryland and lead this team into a fight for supremacy in the ACC and keep them in the top 20 all year. Greivis, you will clearly move into the first round and then you will never have financial troubles again.
Greivis’ return to the Terp, combined with the addition of James and Jordan—I am already counting the days to Midnight Madness!!!!
