Xavier Henry is close to signing with Kansas. If he does then Lance will never be a Jayhawk.
Memphis has enterd the picture for Lance. Memphis???? Calipari wrecked this program—bad choice Lance.
Now we are down to St Johns whose coaches supposedly say Lance is locked up to be a Johnny. Then will someone please tell me why he hasn’t committed?
The logical choice is Maryland. Williams is the perfect coach to quickly adapt Lance’s offense into his Maryland’s game plan. Who could be a better running mate then the most unselfish guy around Eric Hayes. If Lance becomes the ball handling go to guy, who better then Hayes to be floating around nailing 3 pointers. Furthermore Maryland is surrounded by players with vast Terrapin experience.
When Lance says its over then I will believe, until then Lance’s entourage must realize that there is no better place in the worl for him then College Park, Md.

Here’s my personal take on Lance. I have no inside knowledge so this is all just my speculation.
I don’t think Lance ever had any intention to come to Maryland. He visited the school and Under Armour only as a favor to a family friend. Because of this connection he’s had to continuously drop the MD name to honor this favor. His #1 choice was Kansas..which likely won’t happen now with Xavier likely headed there. Lance doesn’t want to go to St. Johns but that he likely where he’s headed. He is holding off to wait to find out what X will do first. The whole deal with him wanting to leave NYC because it’s “dangerous there” was just pure talk….he’s headed there.
But as a Terp, I would love to have him at CP…just don’t think it’s going to happen.
We need to go after a pure scorer…not sure if Vinson fits the bill. And why are we even looking at DeShawn Painter?? He looks more like a Dupree clone

The people deciding on Lance’s future have a lot at stake. They understand the repercussions of a mistake. Provided Greivis doesn’t return , could there be a better plce for Lance then Maryland. The mere fact that you never here Lance rule out Maryland means something. We shall see. Bruce

Precisely. I am beginning to believe that if the Henrys go to Kentucky, Lance commits to Kansas. If the Henrys go to Kansas, the odds are lance will be a Terp. Just my opinion.
