Caps Destroy Avery and the Rangers in New York 5-3 — Series Even at 3-3
This was never a game from the time the Caps took a 3-1 lead in the first period. The Caps are clearly a better team and hopefully will send the Rangers home a loser Tuesday night at the Verizon center. Ovechkin played like a man possessed on Sunday.
