Caps Humiliated at Home in Game 7 6-2

I am going to keep it simple:

                             thoroughly outplayed

                             thouroughly outcoached

                            Penquin skeletons still in closet

May I say I have been to thousands of sporting events and yes this was the toughest ticket I have ever seen. Hundreds of people draped the Verizon Center with 1 or 2 fingers in the air. My only comment for on of the worst performances ever by a home team in game 7, is that Boudreau should have given Varlamov a rest in Game 3 or 4. The kid was worn out.. The Caps were not ready to play. Get out the golf clubs.

YOU CAN NEVER GIVE A HOT GOALIE A GAME OFF IN THE PLAYOFFS. AND VARLY KEPT THE CAPS ALIVE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE CAPS IS THAT THE OTHER 5 SKATERS ON THE ICE PLAY NO DEFENSE. LOOK HOW MANY TIMES THE PENS HAD 3 ON 2’S AND 2 ON 1’S. LOOK HOW MANY TIMES THE PENS HAD MEN SITTING THE CREASE WAITING FOR REBOUNDS AND NO CAPS DEFENSEMEN PUSHING THEM OUT. LOOK HOW MANY TIMES PLAYING AT FULL STRENGTH THE PENS PASSED THE PUCK AROUND IN THE CAPS ZONE AS IF THEY THE CAPS WERE PLAYING A MAN DOWN. PITTS PLAYED BOTH ENDS OF THE ICE AND THEY WERE THE BETTER TEAM. THEY OUTPLAYED THE CAPS IN EVERY GAME. ONLY VARLY KEPT THE SERIES GOING THE DISTANCE. DON’T WRITE ABOUT HOCKEY UNLESS YOU UNDERSTAND THE GAME. 2 MINUTES IN THE PENALTY BOX FOR YOU FOR STUPID COMMENTS
