According to multiple sources Greivis Vasquez more then held his own during a brief tryout with the Wizards. For more info about the tryout, check out the article by Jeff Barker in today’s Sun. Greivis again stated his preference not to play in Europe.When asked about what position would be right for Greivis he responded “I’m a point guard; that’s another thing that I want to make it clear,” Vasquez said. “I’m not a shooting guard. I’m a combo guard. I’ll do whatever the coach wants me to do, but I’m a point guard. I’m a 6-5 point guard. It’s not me trying to be cocky or anything like that. It’s just me telling people the position that I play.”
On the Wizards front, Sam Cassell was added today as an assistant coach for Flip Saunders. My guess is that Sam will be baby sitter for Agent Zero. Sam is a great addition!!!
