I would guess Hill is going to be waived and Berken probably should go back to Norfolk. Tillman takes one spot and Liz the other. Liz has pitched well at Bowie and he does have some experience in the big leagues. I’d rather have the O’s send Liz out for 2-3 starts and see how he does and let Arietta and Patton continue starting at Norfolk. Matusz could be the dark horse here. He was impressive in spring training, has pitched exceptionally well in the minors and spent 3 yrs in college. When he signed the word was he’d probably be on a fast track to the majors. I think most people in baseball would say if a guy is successful at Double “A” he probably should get a shot in the majors. So if I was the O’s g.m. I’d put Liz in for a couple of starts and if he doesn’t get the job done you pick from Arietta and Matusz. And my gut says Matusz.
