The No. 4 Maryland men’s soccer team ignited for seven goals, highlighted by a hat trick by Casey Townsend, on Tuesday night in a 7-0 shutout of Duquesne at Ludwig Field. Matt Kassel continued his solid play in 2009 with a goal in the 13th minute. The sophomore midfielder lined up for a free kick 25-yards out and laced it past the keeper for the eventual game-winner. Will Swaim was in the nets for the shutout.
