Tobias Harris Coming to College Park Nov 13 For Official Visit
The much heralded Rivals #2 PF Tobias Harris will be coming to College Park for his official visit Nov 13-15, as reported in terrapintimes.com. This is the weekend of the Virginia Tech football game, so the campus will be alive!!! This is great news but he has not yet made any decision.
I don’t know why harris is visiting Maryland. Everybody knows he is going to the Cuse. He’s been seen hanging around all his boys from the team he is playing on, who have already committed to Syracuse……They text and talk to him everyday……Waste of time for Gary and the Univ. of Maryland……..Go with Pankey
one other thing. though harris is rated as a power forward no way. he is adamant that he is a small forward and unless he is guaranteed a small forward spot he won’t play for you.
Actually, Freddy, he calls himself a “point forward.” Basically, he has played the 1, 2, 3, and 4 and he developed gaining skills in every position. For his size, he is quite a ball handler and can definitely penetrate. His father has been adamant, not that the school allow him to play the 3, but rather that it allow him to be flexible in the offensive.
From my angle, Gary’s flex offense is perfect for that.
As for the game, it is being televised on Comcast (even though it is against Charleston Southern).
And . . . Stacey Poole is going to Kentucky and he is a small forward. If what you were saying was true, then Harris would have crossed that school off of his list by now . . . a step he clearly has not taken.
