The Tar Heels shut out the Ladt terps tonight 3-0 thus ending the Terrapins’ regular season at 12-5-2. Maryland will now have to wait to find out if it’s selected to the 2009 NCAA tournament. The Terps were 20th in the final regular season RPI and look to be on solid ground to make their first tournament appearance since 2004.
