The tape of tonight’s game will not be sent to the Hall of Fame. There was a lid on both baskets. The Terps shot 19% in the first half and were 20-72 overall. That being said the Terps composed themselves in the 2nd half and dominated the rest of the game. The following is from umterps.com:
The 21st-ranked Maryland women’s basketball team beat New Hampshire, 63-43, Monday night, led by Tianna Hawkins’ 15 rebounds and Diandra Tchatchouang’s 17 points. Maryland claimed the first meeting between the two teams in over 25 years.Tchatchouang led all scorers, while Lynetta Kizer added 11 points and six steals. Dara Taylor scored 10 and added five assists in the contest. The Terps (2-0) forced the Wildcats (1-1) into 21 turnovers and out-rebounded them, 58-42.
