My Take on Saturday Games

When New Orleans should have lost to the Redskins, I kind of felt the bubble was bursting. Now it’s obvious, the Saints are in a fade mode after losing to December’s worst–Dallas.

The eyes of Texas will be on the basketball team come March. The big guy is awesome–remind me of a young Shaq. One word of advice for Rick Barnes–you might want to practice against the full court press because you will be seeing a lot of it.

Interesting to see St Frances superstar Terrell Vinson nail the winner for UMass over Memphis. Josh Pastner, coach of Memphis looks like he is 21.

Wyoming almost blew whatever Bowl it was playing for by committing the new cardinal sin of football–settling for a 40 yard FG to win a game. Get the ball close enough where a shank kick under pressure will sneak through the uprights. I guarantee Coach Harbaugh will never sit on tne ball in that situation again.

The Lady Terps return to action tomorrow afternoon journeying to American — Gary’s Guys play Tuesday night at Comcast.

Tom Dwan is clearly the beast poker player in the world if you have been watching poker on the tube lately. Even Phil Ivey can’t figure him out.

The Wizards were never and I mean never in the game tonight at Phoenix. Nash had 15 pts and 15 assists. The towel is almost in the ring. Flip looks bewildered.

It’s amazing how a team will pay millions to a player but not come to city awaiting 25 inches of snow, a day earlier. Thank you Chicago Bears.

Bruce, love your site and incite, thanx!!!!
FYI I am attaching an article by Mike Lupica NYDaily News that all sports fans and humanitarians should consider.
Yes Lupica can be the obnoxious self centered one on the Sports Reporters on ESPN, but he is also very talented and interesting.
