Maryland kept Saint Joseph’s at bay with 20-point performances from Anjale Barrett and Diandra Tchatchouang. The Terrapins closed their non-conference portion of the season by defeating the Hawks 79-69 and extending their home court winning streak to 47.
Brenda commented post game–“I just thought, like I just told the team, we had tremendous poise and composure down the stretch, especially against such a great, hard-working team like St. Joe’s, and I’m proud of the fact that we had a lot of players spark us, give us energy, especially down the stretch, taking care of the basketball, valuing it, I thought we were able to make a lot of plays on the offensive end of the floor.”
