NC State Cruises Past Lady Terps 73-45 in ACC Opener

The Terrapins fell in their first conference game of the season to N.C. State in Reynolds Coliseum, 73-45, Thursday evening.  Dismal shooting and turnovers plagued Maryland throughout the game. The Terps were only able to shoot 8-for-25 in the first 20 minutes and 10-for-28 in the second half. After North Carolina State shot 50.0 percent in the first half, Maryland was able to hold them to only 9-of-26 shooting in the second. Lori Bjork led the Terps with 10 points. Maryland opens its hom ACC season next Thursday against BC.
