Grant Catalino Registers 6 Points Leading the Terps to a Season Opening Victory

University of Maryland Terps Lacrosse Junior Grant Catalino

Junior Grant Catalino had six points on two goals and four assists to lead the sixth-ranked University of Maryland men’s lacrosse team to a 12-7 season-opening victory over Bellarmine Saturday afternoon at Owlsey B. Frazier Stadium.
Game Notes:
• With today’s 12-7 win Maryland is now 2-0 all-time vs. Bellarmine.
• Maryland has won 17 straight season openers and is 81-3-1 all-time to start the season.
• The victory also gives the Terps a 22-0 record in season openers away from College Park.
• With two goals and four assists, junior Grant Catalino now has 26 multi-point, 21 multi-goal and eight multi-assist games for his career.
• With a goal and an assist, Travis Reed now has 19 multi-point games for his career.
• Jake Bernhardt set his career high with three points and tied his career high with two goals.
