#6 Men’s Lacrosse Moves to 4-0 Defeating Towson 12-8 Behind 6 Goals from 2nd Midfield

The headline is right 2 goals apiece from Mike Shakespeare, Drew Snider, and Freshman John Haus led the way to a convincing win at Byrd Stadium today. The Terps got on top early and were never headed off course. A big surprise this year has been the effect of the 2nd midfield.  “We need them to be good,” Dave Cottle said. “Snider’s been a guy who’s been good from beginning to end, and John Haus has kind of come out of nowhere, and Michael Shakespeare is a guy who was a talented recruit. I think that was a real positive. [The Tigers] game-planned where they didn’t want Grant Catalino to shoot. They went with him everywhere and shut him off. We have to find ways — if teams do that — to continue to score. We need these kids to be good players.” (from baltimoresun.com)  A complete unit—-4-0–#6. I’ve Gotta Feeling!!! Here the highlights from last week’s OT win against Duke.
