It’s amazing that the Terps fionish in the top 20 in the nation in wrestling and we all feel a little disappointed. But that’s what expectations are all about. Curiously Cornell finished #2 in the Nation and the Terps defeated the Ivy League Champ on the road earlier in the year. Hudson Taylor defeated Trevor Brandvold of Wisconsin and lost to Cam Simaz of Cornell to finish fourth, while Steven Bell fell in the seventh-place match, finishing eighth at the 2010 NCAA Championships. Taylor finished the season 42-4 and leaves Maryland as the school’s all-time winningest wrestler with a 165-28 career record.
