Al Skinner Fired By BC—Why?

This one is tough to figure out. Skinner always seemed to get the most out of talent and has had moderate success in the ACC. I first heard his job was in jeopardy at the ACC tournament when several Alumni were highly critical of the team’s performance and the lack of attendance at Chesnut Hill. I wonder if Maryland’s thrashing of the Eagle started the snowball effect.  The Boston Globe reports that the school has already requested permission to speak with Richmond coach Chris Mooney and Cornell’s Steve Donahue, both of whom are hot commodities after resurrecting the programs at their respective schools. Tread lightly Coaches, ACC schools are the toughest to please when it comes to basketball. If you don’t believe me watch what happens if Roy Williams has another bad year.
