#2 Lady Terps Overcome Another Slow Start to Defeat #7 Towson 12-10—Audio with Reese, McFadden, Schwartzmann

Sarah Mollison was on her A game last night, scoring 4 and assisting on 2 as the Terps overcame a 8-3 deficit to score 9 of the game’s final 10 goals to go 11-0 on the season. some observations:

Freshman Katie Schwartzmann has shown me a new speed. She is lightning quick. Mollison, Merrifield, the Jones sisters all are incredibly fast but Katie has a different gear. Post game audio with Katie Katie Schwartzmann

Coach Reese was forced to replace starting goalie Brittany Dipper with Mary Jordan who had a strong game. This is going to be a tough choice for the Coach.

I talked with Cathy after the about the slow starts. cathy Reese audio

Caitlyn McFadden spoke like a true captain post game. Caitlyn McFadden

In the first half, the Terps fired shot after shot high into the stick of Towson’s goalie, which was one of the reasons they were down 8-3. The slow starts must end immediately or it will catch up to the Terps.
