Barry Melrose said the Caps will still win this series. Fact : the last 13 winners of the Presidents Cup have failed to win the Stanley. Fact: The Caps looked flat to my novice eyes. Fact: Jose Theodore certainly played well. Anything less then a Stanley Cup Victory for Washington will be a disappointment. Fact: Montreal has 24 cups–Caps have 0. This is the Caps year and they will prevail. The Cup will be hoisted by Alex in Game 7 of the Championship Series at the Verizon Center.
