Montrose Christian’s Kevin Durant is the real deal, scoring 32 last night. But it was a few key plays by Ron Artest that turned the tide for LA. Artest plays the game a la Dennis Rodman — doing the things that most Superstars must push themselves to do–rebound and playing in your face defense. He had a key steal from Durant and certainly frustrated Durants shots down the wire. Unfortunately he didn’t realize he was cold from the field as he shot a pathetic 2-10. Despite this his play will help trigger a second consecutive title for Kobe.
