Yanks 4 Orioles and Matusz 0—-Yawn—Beautiful Night at the Yard

The o’s are 4-18. AJ Burnett was unhittable –at least by the home team.  there was nothing to cheer about unless you were a Yankee fan. After the show, it was so nice out I figured  I would head down. One major pleasant surprise–the addition of a full scale ATTMAN’S DELI —sitdown and all. Had a great pastrami sandwich. Finally, great food food at the ballpark. I left after 7 innings and time to get home, see Mariano close us out  and the watch Trembley use the work quality 12 times in his post game presser.

Here is an email I received from Ryan today: Did you see Tillman through a No-Hitter last night?  Anyway, with him putting 2 amazing starts together, as everyone predicted after getting sent down, that he would be bad for 2 starts (although Mike Griffin the Tides pitching coach said he was told he could only throw the fastball in those
1st 2, so it wasn’t as bad as it looked) then he would turn the switch and never look back.

My point is, with Arrieta and Tillman dominating like they are, and some of the young position prospects like Xavier Avery, Widlansky, etc. killing it…that as
bad as the O’s are right now, the end is near. They are going to compete at some point really soon.  Take the season in 20 game chunks. They were 3-17 in the 1st 20 game span. They are 1-1 so far in the second. I thought everyone would like to see that Tillman news, paired with the Jake stuff.

tillman needed to work on a cutter because his fastball had no movement. his last 2 starts of have exceptional. the orioles have the talent to play 500 baseball from the mid point part of the season until the end. the manager needs to go. the team needs to bring in a manager and a player who have experienced winning and know how to win.
