this is what you get when you hire a bullpen coach who had a losing minor league managerial record as a major league manager. trembley is a nice guy who has no instinctive feel for managing. he handles the pitching staff like a robot. you throw 5 pitches and you are out. you can’t keep using 5 reliefers every game. first that’s a lot of pitches just warming up. second unless you have exceptional pitchers someone of the 5 isn’t going to pitch well. guys don’t hustle and nothing is done about it. adam jones won’t listen when told to play deeper…he drops ball after ball and nothing is done about it. umpires make horrible calls and trembley just sits in the dugout. the manager is suppose to be the leader. this manager hasn’t had any success. no one on the team knows how to win. the team needs to hire someone who has experienced winning. someone who the players will respect. someone who will demand accountability from the players. and the front office needs to try to make a trade for a power hitting first baseman. the team is 18.5 games out and it’s not even memorial day. as dr. henry lee said at the o.j. murder trial…something very wrong here. if the manager can’t inspire..it’s time to fire
