Senior Colleen Deegan got on the end of a corner kick with eight seconds left in regulation and finished with a sharp header to give the No. 5/7 University of Maryland women’s soccer team a 2-1 victory at No. 2/4 Boston College Thursday night. The win is the 16th all-time for the Terps over a top 10 opponent and the second-ranked Eagles are the highest ranked team Maryland has ever defeated. The Terrapins are now 10-1-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in ACC play. Boston College falls to 9-2-1 overall, 2-2-0 in the conference. from umterps.com
