Jasmyne Spencer set a career high with five points on two goals and an assist to lead the No. 4/6 University of Maryland women’s soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Clemson Thursday night at Ludwig Field. With the victory, the Terps tied the all-time conference win total with four ACC games remaining. Maryland is now at 12-1-1 on the year and 4-1-1 in conference play. Clemson fell to 5-9-0 overall and 0-6-0 in the ACC. For Maryland head coach Brian Pensky, the game went exactly as expected. “We played well tonight. Our soccer was good and we scored some quality goals. We’ve created a culture where winning is expected every time out. And tonight was simply about living up to that expectation.”
