Terrapin Weekend Update

Field Hockey–The #2 Lady Terps won twicw this weekend 7-5 at Old Dominion on Friday and 7-2 at home against Delaware on Sunday. Katie O’Donnell’s 2 goals on Sunday allowed her to pass Nicole Muracco as Maryland’s leading goal scorer in history.

#4 Men’s Soccer defeated Clemson 3-2 on Saturday night as Senior Jason Herrick headed home the game-winner at 75:32 off a perfectly served ball from Matt Kassel in the deep central midfield. Midfielders Sunny Jane and Paul Torres also notched goals as Maryland moved to 8-2-1 and 4-1-1 in the ACC this season. “Herrick had a tremendous game,” head coach Sasho Cirvoski said. “His class and leadership really came through with that gritty game-winning score.”

#4 Lady’s soccer defeated Clemson Friday night 4-0 as jasmyne Spencer scored twice.
