DWade, Bosh Pathetic as Celtics Thump Heat in Opener—Steve Blake Nails 3 With 18 Seconds Left As Lakers Win 112-110

Chris Bosh looked small on the court as the Heat did its best impression of the 09-10 Cleveland Cavaliers last night. It was Lebron or nothing as King james poured in 31 in a 8 point Heat defeat. Had LeBron looked for his shot in the first half the outcome might have been different. Wade was 4-16 and looked out of sync returning from his absence.

In LA, the addition of Steve Blake provided huge dividends for the Champs as Steve Blake hit the winning shot and then blocked a last second shot to preserve the victory. With 2 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter, the Lakers looked weary and beat but Steve Blake hit a couple of 3s and then Shannon Brown went bonkers hitting 4 threes, 2 on Blake assists.  Blake has quickly adapted to the triangle and certainly was in the game at crunch time–while Derek Fisher sat on the bench.
