John Wall’s nickname should be franchise because that is what he is. Just a brilliant performance to ruin the return of Doug Collins to Verizon. I will admit that with Gilbert this game would not have been close. He was out nursing something. Andre Blatche almost singlehandedly lost the game with 3 late turnovers.
considering gilbert hasn’t played much in pre season there is no telling how effective he would have been playing the off guard for the first time in his career. i think the wizards are better off now and for the future not having gilbert part of the team.
