Buck you will never be on equal footing with your opponents. But I do believe you can make the difference or at least I want to believe that. With that the O’s got Mark Reynolds from Arizona, a slugging 3rd Baseman who averagesd 35 homers and 95 RBIs over the past 3 years. But as the Sun reports: “Mark Reynolds batted just .198 last season for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has struck 200 times in each of the past three seasons, while no other player has done it once in the history of baseball. In 26 career games against American League East teams, including the Orioles, Reynolds is 10-for-67 (.149) with one homer, seven RBIs and 33 strikeouts.” 200 strikeouts? I hope this acquisition isn’t a prelude to a ticket price increase.

first off boston’s prospect are much more highly regarded than any players the orioles could have offered. reynolds has great power, very athletic, good fielder, is only 27 and still learning and getting better. good trade for the o’s. hernandez will be a very good major laegue pitcher..micolico or whatever his name is not a quality pitcher.
