Search Committee Formed For the Hunt for a New Football Coach
Members of the search committee and the executive-search firm for the head football coach position were announced Wednesday by the athletics department. The university has hired DHR International to aid in the search. Pat Richter, former athletic director at the University of Wisconsin, is DHR’s lead consultant on the search. Senior associate A.D. and chief financial officer Randy Eaton was named the chairman of the search committee.

Barry Gossett, university benefactor and assistant treasurer of University System of Maryland Board of Regents
Larry Grabenstein, chairman of Maryland Gridiron Network and past president of Terrapin Club
Cheryl Harrison, senior associate A.D., development
Robert W. Smith, university alumnus and benefactor
Dr. Charles Wellford, faculty athletics representative and faculty member in department of criminology and criminal justice
