John Wall Banks in a 3 Point Shot as The Wizards Defeat Boston 85-83

Could there be a light at the end of the tunnel? For the first time in several years I can actually say a Wizards game kept me on the edge of my seat. Each Day John Wall gets better and if he ever develops a consistent outside shot , he will be unstoppable. The Celtics laid off of him, gave him the shot but Wall kept busting into 3 defenders and tonight came out ahead. this was truely a packed house with tickets being hawked outside the Arena for telephone numbers.

The Celtics bounced out to a big 1st half lead and the Doc surprised me by going with his B team for much of the 2nd quarter. That’s what the wizards needed and they slowly pounded their way back into the game. Kevin Garnett still is his imposing self and certainly Ray Allen can shoot as well as anyone in the league. But the Wizards matched the legends stride for stride and benefitted by an unusual late miss by Paul Pierce to get the victory. Now if they can only get a road win!!!
