The No. 12 Maryland women’s basketball team fell at No. 20 Miami 83-75, despite a second half surge that included five Terrapins breaking double-figures. Junior Lynetta Kizer led with 15 points and 11 boards, while sophomore Tianna Hawkinsnotched 12 points and 10 rebounds. The Terps (20-4, 6-3 ACC) trailed by 14 at the break, but began the second half on an 8-0 run to cut the Canes’ lead to six.
