Terps Lax Starts Slow But Finishes Strong Defeating Detroit Mercy 16-4

Before you give me a big ho hum, Detroit Mercy lost to Ohio State 4-3 last week. Ohio State waltzed over Carolina and the great Billy Bitter 13-8. The Terps got off to a rough start when Travis Reeds’ goal was disallowed because of an illegal stick. Memo-31 The Ttitans scored twice with their 3 minute man advantage. But once the Terps got rolliny it was no contest. Some of my oberservations.

Curtis Holmes was 17-4 on faceoffs and scooped 5 grounballs.

Jhaus had 4 assists compared to 2 the entire 2010 season.

Ryan Young and Joe Cummings each had 3 goals while Catalino, Reed and Drew Snider each had 2.

Niko Amato was never really tested in the net but had 6 saves anfd teh Terps were 20-20 in clears.

Next up Georgetown at home on Saturday at 3PM.
