#1 Lady Terps Move to 10-0 With 17-8 Victory over JMU

Top-ranked Maryland captured its 20th consecutive victory while coasting to a 17-8 win against No. 10 James Madison Saturday at the Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex. Maryland (10-0, 3-0 ACC) was led in scoring by Laura Merrifield, who totaled four goals on the day including a hat trick in the first half. Despite a slow start, Karri Ellen Johnson ended the match with three scores to move past Allison Comito for fourth all-time in career goals at Maryland with 177. Katie Schwarzmann, Brandi Jones, Beth Glaros and Sarah Mollison all netted two.
