Vlad Finishing Up Great Spring–Opening Day An Unequivocal Sellout
Vlady is finishing up Spring Training with 5 Hrs and 20 RBIs but more important perhaps one of the best attitudes on the team. I called my DH __Brendan from the O’s and asked to buy 4 more seats for opening day. His response was “Sorry, it’s an absolute sellout” In the long run that is great news.
the big if is the orioles young pitching. if they can pitch anywhere near as well as they pitched the last 35 games of last season the orioles will be better than .500 the addition of vlad, reynolds, hardy and lee along with roberts back full time should improve the offense and give everyone in the line up better protection. jones and wieters should improve their numbers from last year. but it really comes down to pitching and defense.
