Farrell, Niko Lead #7 Terrapins to 10-4 Win at Navy

After an exhausting 2 hour trek from Baltimore to Annapolis, I decided to view this game on CBS College Sports Network with Stan Goldstein at Rick Jaklitsch’s house. What a rainy, miserable night in Annapolis. But the Terrapins were able to take care of business easily defeating a Freshmen laden Navy squad squad. Curtis Holmes dominated the face offs early and Maryland jumped out to a 6-1 lead early and never looked back. Again it was the middies doing the damage  led by Joe Cummings, jake Bernhardt and Drew Snider. Niko Amato continued his superb play in the nets and never let navy back inthe game. NOTE: Niko’s clears are getting better and more offensive with each passing week. Brian Farrell scored twice the 2nd goal coming on an end to end run after a great clear by Niko.

Both Maryland and Johns Hopkins got past their trap games as the BlueJays defeated Albany 11-6–setting up the rivalry match next week vs the Terps.
