This one is hard for me to believe. The Maryland SGA has reduced funding to local campus station WMUC. The station has been a fixture at the University and serves as a tremendous teaching and experience venue for Terrapin students. For those of you who follow my show, I have incorporated many of the students into bloggers, sometimes guests, and personally I listen and critique any who ask for my advice. Josh Kendrick informed me last night that fundraising events will start very soon. i plan to attend and help in any way I can. It’s nuts that this is necessary but it is what it is.

WHY IS THIS HARD TO BELIEVE. MONEY IS TIGHT. THE ECONOMY IS TERRIBLE. IT COST MONEY TO COVER SPORTS AND HOW MUCH INTEREST IS THERE IS LACROSSE OR SOCCER. DEFINITELY A SAD STORY BECAUSE WMUC DEVELOPS TALENT AND GIVES KIDS A CHANCE TO LEARN THE ROPES. MAYBE WMUC SHOULD SOLICIT THE LIKES OF JIMMY ROBERTS, BONNIE BERNSTEIN, SCOTT VAN PELT, PAM WARD and others who attended the u of md for help. for the amount of money maybe they can have an auction and get gary to play a round of golf with 3 bidders. scott could have a bidder help co host his radio show. pam could host a bidder to a behind the scenes visit at a football game she calls and maybe someone will bid on one of jimmy roberts sleeveless sweaters
