Absence of Fans Selections Ruins This Year’s All Star Game
My message to the MLB players like Derek Jeter: If you don’t care enough about the fans who voted you in to attend the All Star Game then I won’t waste my watching this pathetic exhibition game. There will be no further mention by me of the Summer Classic!! I promise!!
if i’m jeter and still not 100% i skip the game. the goal is to get to and win the world series and if a few days rest helps an injury i take the few days rest. it’s a team game not an individual sport.
jeter should at least show up for the game and “tip his cap” but the fan vote is a joke. can’t fans vote up to 25 times for a player? that’s not a true vote. maybe the u.s. should adapt that policy for presidential elections. and the idea that the winning league gets home field in the world series is another joke. of course the orioles are the biggest joke. calling themselves a major league team. the o’s should be on the comedy channel.
