How great was it to hear Maryland being mentioned among the choices for many at the elite 24 game. Some observations:
Gonzaga’s Nate Britt is just flat out super. His basketball IQ is off the charts. In a no d game , he frustrated Aquille Carr several times.
The Harrison twins were awesome as usual.
Amile Jefferson gets better every time I see him.
Aquille Carr seems to be able to penetrate at will.
Broke my heart to see Justin Anderson and hear UVA.
Shabazz Muhammed is everything and then some.
For those of you who missed it, Mitch McGary shattered the backboard in warmups and was a bleeding victim of falling glass. He is fine.
Robert Carter probably is locked into the SEC but what a game he has.
