– Michael Boyden pitched three scoreless innings, Brady Kirkpatrickallowed just one hit in five relief innings, and Maryland recorded its school-record eighth shutout this season with a 3-0 win over West Virginia Wednesday evening.
The Terps (22-13), who have two shutouts in their last four games, lead the ACC and now have the school record for shutouts in a season. The previous mark was seven, set in 1968.
