Maroon 5 Wows DC Before a Packed House at the Verizon Center

Basketball season officially ended for me Tuesday night with Maryland’s loss at the Garden. So last night, it was off to DC to check out the best Voice on the Voice Adam Levine of Maroon 5.  I was not disappointed.  What I liked about the concert:

Adam’s voice is flawless. This fact was even more apparent during his encore segment when he belted out Stereo Hearts and Daylight, and finished up the show with Moves Like Jagger. I am usually out during the last song of a concert but not Wednesday night. Kathy and myself stayed to the very end and we were sorry when it was over.

The staging of the show was phenomenal employing his signature logo as the Floor. Giant screens were everywhere. But most of all Adam rocked the house the entire night. Adam Levine gets it as he incorporated his audience into show and clearly was appreciate of the love DC showed toward him and the band.

Tremendous Stage at he Maroon 5 Concert

What I didn’t like about the concert:

The base guitar vibrated WAY too loud

Got there at 730 and Maroon 5 came on at 9:37. The 2 intro bands were excellent but there was a 35 minute gap after the 2nd band Neon Trees, finished.
