Nate McClouth continues his torrid pace with 3 hits, including his first HR of the year.
Pedro Strop enetered the game in the 9th having to protect a 4 run lead. A walk and a near beheading of an Oakland batter forced Buck to use JJ again. I would assume JJ gets Sunday off and Pedro is close to being sent to Norfolk to straighten out his mechanics.

well dr know it all pedro strop is out of options so if the orioles attempt to send him to norfolk he would have to pass through waivers and that ain’t going to happen. he would most certainly be claimed by another team. i wouldn’t be surprised if buck used him today to try to help get his confidence back. strop has pitched inconsistent this year but yesterday he probably got pretty shaken up when he hit the batter in the head.
