I don’t get the feeling that most Maryland fans have been too critical of Trimble. I think most Terps fans are worried about the decline in his shooting accuracy. The 11 games Freddy cites constitute over 40 percent of the season and if total those, he’s only shooting 24 percent in those 11 games. We as fans can’t help but wonder (and be concerned) if he’s got a nagging or chronic injury that’s affecting that phase of his game.
I think it speaks more to Maryland’s talent that they’ve managed to compile a 22-4 record with Trimble scoring as inefficiently as he has so far this season.
i think melo is hurt. you would think with better talent around him his shooting would improve because the defense needs to focus on other guys more so this yr than last. he certainly is getting much better finding the open man and is exceptional passing off the pick-screen and roll

Melo has been god awful. The leap from freshman to sophomore is supposed to be the biggest.

This loss to Minnesota is DISGRACEFUL!!!!
Again, Turgeon can recruit, but that only further shows how weak he is in Xs n Os.
He has so much talent, and they suck. I don’t care what their record is. Every game is a struggle. They are horrible perimeter defenders, rebounders, and they don’t take advantage of their athleticism by running the tempo.
Who have they beaten? Iowa? At home? They lost to MINN!!!!

plus, we are going to get spanked by Indiana and MSU again.
We are a 8 seed at best. Will not make the 16 again.
This program has been spiraling downward in both revenue sports for 12 years.
