I’ll explain briefly:
2 of the relentless, unmerciful blowout Coaches had their ears pinned back Saturday.
#1 Michigan and the guy who wins until Titles are on the line—Loses to IOWA–let me repeat IOWA. Of course the committee will remember how Harbaugh squeezed out another TD against Maryland to make the final 59-3. That was big for Michigan. Now Harbaugh is a loss away from not making the Final Four.
#2 Here’s the best–Ohio State is somewhat in trouble NOW. Should Ohio State defeat Michigan, then the Buckeyes would tie Penn State for the East Title but PSU defeated Ohio State and thus would represent the East in the Big 10 Championship. Sorry about that Urban but you are probably done. But maybe the committee will remember that great drive you had against Maryland when you were up 48-3 in the 3rd quarter.
As I said this morning on the Sports Maven —those who abuse sportsmanship will ultimately pay the price. Except for Bill Belichick.
