(a) Game of Despair (b) A Day of Upsets or (c) Parity has really arrived—-Jags 44 Ravens 7—Comments from BP

The answer is c

Without a doubt today I watched the worst Ravens Ravens performance I ever saw. I came in to do In The Nest this mornig, and Donald and Carl Saiontz told me I really looked down. I was after yesterday’s devastating Maryland loss. Not so much that the Terps lost but the fact that they are down to QB3.  So I thought at least today’s game has to be better. I was wrong big time. At least Maryland had the lead and even in defeat never quit.  I can’t think of any phase of the game the Ravens had any spell of success in. Ok, maybe Collins had a nice rushing effort but the game was out of control.

37-0 and the Jags pulled off a successful fake punt. a FAKE PUNT to a whipped team. Classless, stupid, and revenge thinking. Believe me against this hapless franchise the Ravens will have a payback day. The Jags should move to London where they draw 100,000 instead of playing in the Gator Bowl with a tarp covering thousands of seats.

Mike Preston had tons of Fs floating around for grades. Game plan? Desire? A lifeless offense. DISASTER.

How many times did Joe Montana   errrrrrrr Blake Bortles throw underneath for 10 yards. Offense–3 and out, 3 and out, 3 and out , int , 3 and out. Really.

Here is the funny part–the Steelers lost to the Bears???? The Redskins obliterated Oakland. New England, Green Bay and  Atlanta were lucky to win.

DO NOT FOR A SECOND Think I BELIEVE THE RAVENS ARE DONE. The Bears ran through the Steelers so easily it was a joke. The Browns are 0-3 and the Bengals are 0-3.

Next Sunday will be JUDGMENT FOR JOE FLACCO AND THE RAVENS.

AT 30-0 WHY IN THE WORLD DID Coach Harbaugh not make a QB switch. Could Joe have played worse? So he had an off week I hope. But wow we don’t want Joe getting hurt in a meaningless situation.

The loss of Marshall Yanda and Brandon Williams was devastating. Certainly not enough effective changes were implemented to make the offense work. Believe me there is no use talking about this debacle, throw the film away. Prepare for what is now the biggest game of the year. A win over the Steelers will wipe the stench off of Sunday’s game.

Finally, I really feel sorry for those great fans that ventured to London.
